The Old Fish Market

The Old Fish Market is a first-class establishment right in the heart of the historic market area. It’s name comes from its building’s former role as, not unsurprisingly, a fish market in the late 19th century. While tradition rules here thanks to good old fashioned service and classic real ales, there's a modern twist to the menu - almost exclusively Thai. Beer-lovers are well served at The Old Fish market – with the pub having five ales always on tap, a winner of a Fuller's Master Cellarman award and being featured in the Good Beer Guide. Families are welcomed and there are great facilities for those who wish to enjoy live sport.
